Sweet November Stamps Fae-bruary Week 4

There is a fun challenge each week in the Sweet November Stamps Facebook Group for Fae-bruary!! For the final week the theme is Moon & Stars.

I'm not going to lie, this one threw me and I had decided that I wasn't going to do it but then I decided to give it a try, LOL! I'm not the most pleased with my background but I tried. LOL! I have a new paintbrush coming for splattering so maybe that will help in the future.

I pictured the sweet Fairwee Twirl fairies having a fun spring party dancing in the purple moon!

Enchanted Spring Flowers

I am trying to work on using stencils more and also ink blending. One of the things I wanted to figure out was how to emboss a stencil in my Big Shot and voila' I did it! I ink blended over it and love how pretty it turned out! 

Once I had the embossed/inked panel I needed to add an image. I looked at my notes and realized I can enter one more time in the Sweet November Stamps FB group monthly challenge so I went that route.

I don't think I've ever used the Enchanted Spring Flowers stamp set or if I have, not much so I thought it would be fun to color up some of the flowers and fairies/butterflies. I left off a sentiment since I don't know exactly who I'm sending it to.

I think it just turned out so pretty! Yay! I'm looking forward to playing more with stencils and ink blending!!

I found this sweet dragon, Sweetie from TLC Designs (I don't think they are in business any more)  in an envelope only partially colored so I had to correct that! I finished coloring him and got him on a card. I really like how this turned out with some beloved Basic Grey paper!!

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

I just got an order from Scrappy Boy Stamps and couldn't wait to color up the Cute Capybara stamp set! I think this card turned out so adorable and I love this capy's little turtle backpack.

The Greeting Farm February Sketch Challenge

In The Greeting Farm Fan Facebook group they have a sketch challenge running until 3/14/2026 and you can enter twice. This card is my first entry!

Our weather has been quite the rollercoaster here lately. Today it was 65+ and tomorrow we are expecting snow and the temps drop drastically! With snow in the forecast I wanted to do something wintery so I looked through my stamps and decided that the Yeti for Winter stamp set would be perfect!!

The only paper I have that is wintery is also holiday themed so I decided to use the Watercolor Birthday 6x6 paper pad because it has patterns that are so pretty and can be used for anything, not just birthdays!

My card went together really quick since I was using a sketch from the Inspired By The Sketch book that is available in the shop! I used Sketch # 18 for today's card.

I struggle with coloring pastel or lighter colors so I just embraced my bright happy coloring with the yeti! I used the following Copics: RV13, RV11, BG05, BG02, V15, V12, YG07, YG01.

After I fussy cut my cute yeti out I added some details with white gel pen and then put the card together. I popped the yeti up on foam dots so the card would have a little dimension.

For today's card I started by doing some stenciling with the Little Paw stencil that comes in the kit. I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink for a pretty yellow. It's a very light yellow so it will be a subtle background.

After it dried and I cleaned up my area, I tried to match it to the papers in the Fur Babies 6x6 Paper Pad and decided that I didn't like any combos so I set it aside and went in a different direction! Does that ever happen to you? At least I have it for a future card!

I thought on it for a bit and then chose my papers. I usually go for bright colors but thought these neutral papers would be fun to create with.

I stamped my images, colored them with copics and then fussy cut them out.

For my layout I used Sketch 36 from the book available at the Crafty Stamp Co., Inspired By The Sketch.

Today I'm sharing how I created a card using the Love Is In The Air stamp set. What a super sweet set!!

I started my card by choosing my papers from the Spring Is In The Air 6x6 paper pad.

Next I stamped, colored and cut out the image with a die from my stash.

To finish the card I cut out my papers with dies from my stash to create my layout, stamped a sentiment,  added some white gel pen details and put it all together. I did pop the sentiment up on some foam dots for some dimension.

A very sweet card for some new or old love birds!
