It's a Good Day to have a Good Day!!

Today I am sharing a card I created for a recent swap with the theme of Picnic/Food. I am using the retired Newton's Nook Woodland Picnic stamp set for my card today. I don't think this set has ever seen ink, yikes!!

I paired the cute critters with some fun papers from Doodlebug and some dies from my stash. 

I hope my swap partner likes it! It was fun to get all those critters colored up with my Copics and arrange them on the card. It's a little busy but I thought it was a fun picnic scene!

Another Easter card to share today that I made for my kids. I waited until after Easter to post these so they wouldn't see them.

This card uses the fun Delightfully Feral stamp set from Unity Stamps. This bunny just makes me giggle so much!!

For the month of March we have a theme challenge, Spring has Sprung! For my card today I embossed the Petite Flowers Stencil for the background and then colored up the Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. I die cut the Spring Roundabout colored image out with the Circle Frames Die Set and then used the Banner Trio Die set for the sentiment. The finishing touch was a bunny from the Bunny Silhouettes Die Set which I embossed with the same Petite Flowers Stencil and lightly ink blended over it.

Today I have a birthday card using the super cute stamp set, Hare In Your Cake from Crafty Stamp Co.!  

I am also using Sketch #1 from the Inspired By The Sketch book written by the owner of Crafty Stamp Co., Cristena Bagne. It's a fabulous book full of great sketches and I know I'll be using it often because we all know I love sketches!

I paired the Hare In Your Cake stamp set with the Party Power 6x6 Paper Pad for my card. That little "hare" is adorable!!! A birthday card that is sure to bring a smile!

Cruising Critters

Today I have a card using another Sunny Studio stamp from my stash, Cruising Critters. I just love how many critters are in that car! 

I got lots of inspiration for my card from the Sunny Studio Blog. Their design team is so talented!

I started out by trying to create a road by embossing the stripes for the road but let's just say that was not a pretty sight so I ended up just using a white gel pen to create the stripes.

I used the Cloud Edger stencil from A Colorful life to create the clouds in the background. I am really liking how versatile the Cityscape Border is and added it to this card in white. 

To finish the card I used the Newton's Nook Land Borders die to create some grass and then added the Cruising Critters that I colored with copics and fussy cut out. I like the Sunny Studio has sentiments that you can build whatever sentiment you want, I added my sentiment to the top of the sky.
