Craft Roulette #333 Card | Merry Woofmas

One of the goals I left Craft Roulette Live with was to participate more often! I'm so excited that I have a card to submit for Episode #333 with Chelsea Comer! New to Craft Roulette? Check it out HERE!!

Each week Craft Roulette spins a wheel to randomly choose 4 parameters: Project, Colors, Element and Random. You create a card with those parameters and then submit it for everyone to see. It's fun to see how many different ways the parameters are interpreted!

For Episode #333 the parameters were: Project-4x6 Card, Colors-Buffet, Element-Holiday and Random-Bark. For my card I did: Project-I created a 4x6 card, Colors-Reds, Greens, Yellows and Oranges on a Buffet in the salad bar (tomatoes, lettuce, banana peppers and carrots), Element-Christmas, and Random-My dog barks!

My sweet pup is from the Pajama Crafter Stamps Wienerful Christmas stamp set. So super cute!!

For my holiday inspiration today I wanted to show you can use non-traditional colors for your holiday projects! I used the Citrus & Scarlet Blooms stamp set with the Spring Plaids 6x6 paper for my card today. I just love how it came out!! So super pretty!

I had so much fun creating my card using the Weinerful Christmas stamp set!  Isn't that dog so cute!! I'd love to receive this card!

My images were colored with Copics and fussy cut out!

I used lots of layers on this card but no foam tape in between layers so it's still pretty flat for mailing. My sentiment is on the inside and reads, "Merry Woofmas and a wienerful New Year!"

You Make Every Season Sweeter

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

Newton's Nook Snowmen Cards

I have a few cards today using the Snowmen Use Your Stash prompt! I pulled out a few sets from Newton's Nook to create with!

My first card uses the Postage Stamp Layout Die with the Snowman Postage Sampler Stamp Set/Dies! Such adorable little snowmen! I paired it with the Snow Flurries 6x6 Paper Pad, which has the prettiest colors in it.

Next I used the Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set/Dies! I paired it with the Christmas Party 6x6 Paper Pad and the Fames & Tags Die. I also added a few snowflakes from the Snowfall Die Set!

Inspired By Challenge- Inspired By Gingerbread

I saw that the Inspired By Challenge this week was gingerbread and knew I wanted to play along!! 

I was inspired by all the gingerbread! To start my card, I pulled out the cute Gnome Friends: Gingerbread Die from Jaded Blossom! I then found some cute paper from Not 2 Shabby to create with and then just started putting the card together!

I looked through my stash and found the cutest little reindeer from Unity Stamps, A Little Dash, and decided he'd be perfect for this card. I had received a sampler of papers, A Dash of Christmas, when I ordered him so I used those. 

I used the Jaded Blossom Winter Embellishment Cluster die for the little mittens. I know a reindeer can't wear mittens but I was going with the theme of the papers and I thought they were super cute!

Playing with Glimmer Hot Foil System

I've had the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System for quite awhile but have never really had time to sit down and play with it to learn it. I took some time recently to do just that. 

In the past I have never gotten very good results but to be fair, I was usually in a hurry or rush to really learn it. This time I took my time and really focused on learning this hot foil system. I did get it somewhat figured out, with the help of my hubby, but honestly, I still like toner foiling better but I can see a place in the craft room for both types of foiling as I really like the option for the sentiments with the glimmer hot foiling.

Here's my first card that I created with the Spellbinders Glimmering Christmas Flora Hot Foil Plates/Dies.

Card 2 uses the Spellbinders Sentiments for Everyday Hot Foil Plates/Dies set.

My last card for today uses paper and ephemera from Not 2 Shabby and a foiled sentiment from that same Spellbinders Sentiments For Everyday Hot Foil/Dies.
