You're Truly Amazing

I found this fun digital stamp, Glasses on My Nose by Krista Smith in my folder of printed images and thought it'd be fun to color her up and get her on a card.

I think this image looks so similar to my daughter. I was smiling the whole time I was coloring and creating. I did giggle though as when I was putting the card front onto the card base I put it upside down from what I had in my mind. It still works but it just wasn't what I had envisioned. 

I think this is the first time I've attempted to color a wallpaper. It's crooked but I think it turned out kind of fun and funky!

Birthday Card A Day September 2023- Day 23

Today is Day 23 of my Birthday Card A Day September 2023! Today's card is special as it's for my daughter! She will be home visiting to celebrate her birthday which is next week!

Birthday Card A Day September 2023- Day 4

It's Day 4 of my Birthday Card A Day September 2023!! And it's also my birthday! I love celebrating my birthday and this year both my kiddos are coming home for my birthday so it's extra special!

Today I printed out a digi from Krista Smith, 5 Year Old to color up for my card. Isn't she so cute!!

I colored her up in yellows, oranges and pinks! Fun happy colors!

I finished off the card with some shimmer on the balloon and some peach pearls.

Mojo Monday Sketch #4- Soda Pop

 Today I'm continuing on my crafty journey to use the Mojo Monday Sketches in order. I have Sketch #4 today!

The first thing I thought of when I saw this sketch was the Newton's Nook Frames Squared dies! I then went to my digital stamp folder and found a fun digi, Soda Pop by Krista Smith that would work in the square.

I colored her up, paired her with some fun My Mind's Eye My Girl papers (from 2013) and then put the card together! So cute and fun!!

Little Traveler

 Today I have another "adventure" card for the challenge in the Crafty Fun With Friends of LV Handcrafted group! 

I thought this digi from Krista Smith, Little Traveler was perfect for the theme of adventure! Who knows where her adventure will lead her!!

I paired her with some old (2011) My Mind's Eye 6x6 Sunshine papers. This is a different color palette than what I normally work with but it is always good to stretch those creative muscles!

The sentiment comes from an old SugarPea Designs stamp set, Hats Off To You.

Final Farewell to Summer Collab- 4 Summer Cards

 My friend Teresa and I had so much fun with our last collab that we decided to do another one! For the month of August we are going to have a Final Farewell to Summer Collab each Wednesday! 

For my cards today I decided to use 4 summer digis from Krista Smith, 1 set of dies-MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 1, the MFT Sand, Surf & Sky 6x6 paper pad and the MFT Itty Bitty Summer stamp set to create my cards.

I had so much fun coloring up these images!! I truly do love Krista Smith digis!! I'm so happy she has a shop now where anyone can buy her digis but the perks are great if you become a member of her Patreon! 

The cards are all very simple but they just let those images shine!
