You Deserve A Pig Thank You

It's been a long time since I've done a complete set of cards using Kendra's Card Challenge so I set a goal for myself to do all 15 cards for the new #KCC22 by the end of the challenge, June 30, 2026.

I haven't been very successful at cutting the 6 different papers like the challenge is designed to do so I just do each sketch individually, which works out great for me!

Today's card uses Sketch #1. I adjusted some of the layers to fit my image but I feel you can still see the sketch. This stamp, Wilbur, from Unity Stamps is just so darn cute! I love it!

MFT You Are Not Alone Card Kit

I needed a sympathy card so I pulled out the MFT You Are Not Alone Card Kit that I've had for a while and only made a few cards with. Once I started creating I just kept going and created 4 cards using the kit and other supplies from my stash. I had to make myself stop so I could do some design team work but I will be revisiting this kit again!!

I was having "a day" with photos so here's a few that show the embossing a bit better!

I am so excited for this kit as it's perfect for me since it's all about travel! I am going on my first ever cruise in a few weeks and then to Vegas with hubby for a weekend and then later in the summer we're off to Boston!! 

To start today's card I chose my stamp set and papers.

Next I decided on what layout I was aiming for using dies from my stash. I decided to do a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch square card to accommodate the larger circle die cut.

I stamped the image and then did a little masking to add the flowers to the basket. Next up was one of my favorite parts, coloring up the image! I colored the image with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen.

To finish my card I stamped and cut out my sentiment and put all the elements together. I added some Sherbet Sparkle Crafty Dots for a touch of sparkle.

You're A Plant-tastic Friend

I had so much fun creating yesterday's card with the potted plant that I decided to make another one but this time I used the newly released Jaded Blossom Potted Plants dies. I still had out the paper and other dies from the last card so I just used those for this one too. 

I'm also entering this into Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge which is Anything Goes this month.

I keep telling my family that I plan on being a plant mama whenever we don't have any pets so I really am loving this plant theme I've been creating with!

You Brighten My Day

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

Today I have used Sketch 19~

I'm also entering this card into The Greeting Farm's monthly challenge which this month it's to use some green.

I looked through my stash of stamps from The Greeting Farm and decided to use Animal Pots--which has never seen ink, eek! I put the sentiment on the inside of the card.

I had fun creating this card and think I might do more cards with a plant/flower theme soon!
