Summer Vibes Collab | Patriotic Cards

I'm excited to be doing a little collab today with my friend, Teresa of the Fresh and Renewed with Teresa channel! Teresa started the summer with a series, Summer Vibes where she shares summer themed cards each Friday. I wasn’t able to join her at the beginning of the series but I’m happy to be joining her now!

Watch my video HERE for this week!

This week we are sharing Patriotic themed cards to celebrate 4th of July and the 250th Bicentennial Celebration of the USA! I used the Scrappy Boy Stamps Spirit of 1776 Stamp Set and Paper for both of my cards today.

I used the Crafty Stamp Co. Inspired By The Sketch book for my first card and used Sketch 120.

I let the image shine on it's own for the second card.

I was in tears when my yellow marker did the dreaded blob but decided to just leave the big green spot, maybe he was rolling in the grass!

Have an amazing day and if you are in the USA, have a wonderful, safe 4th of July tomorrow!! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Bright and Cheerful Copic Colored Birthday Card Tutorial

Hi crafty friends! I’m so excited to be sharing my first Pajama Crafter Stamps creation with you all as part of the design team!

First, I decided on all the Pajama Crafter Stamps products I wanted to use! I’m a very visual person so I like to pull papers out and see how they work together along with the stamp set, dies, etc.

After the products were chosen, I stamped the main cake image from the Forever 29 Cake stamp set onto Marshmallow Coloring Paper and colored up the fun cake. I used the papers I chose from the Birthday Bash PaperPad for the color inspiration for the cake.

Copics Used:
Main layer of cake: YR23, YR21, YR20
Frosting: BG15, BG13, BG11
Frosting in layers of cake: R85. R83
Candle: YR68, YR65, YR04, Y17
Candy: R27, R24, B05, B02
Plate: Y19, Y15

To get the card elements prepared I fussy cut the cake out, die cut the word WHOA from the Dang, Who, Yikes! Word And Shadow Die and cut the background patterned paper to fit the front of an A2 card, 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches.

To finish the card, I adhered the elements to a card base popping some of the elements up on foam dots for some dimension and adding a layer of black cardstock to make the main layer stand out. It needed a little something for interest, so I added some embellishments from my stash, be sure to check out all the embellishments at Pajama Crafter Stamps! I know many of these are going in my next order!

I stamped the sentiment from the Forever 29 Cake stampset on the inside of the card and decorated it with a strip of paper from the Birthday Bash Paper Pad.

Have a wonderful day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Crafty Stamp Co. Positive Tate Love Notes | Happy Mail For You

Hello crafty friends!! Today I have a fun card using crafty products from Crafty Stamp Co.! I haven't used one of the Positive Tate stamp sets in a little while so I chose Positive Tate Love Notes to create with today!

I wanted to show that the For The Gentlemen 6x6 Paper could be versatile so I grabbed that out to pair with Tate. I grabbed the Inspired By The Sketch Book so I could get some inspiration for my layout. I used Sketch 106 for today's card.

Once I had the papers and sketch picked out I stamped out a Tate and colored him up with my Copics. I used the paper as inspiration for the colors of the envelopes.

Copics Used:
Ground/Shadow: W4, W2, BG0000
Hearts: YR09
Tate: E34, E33, E31, E30
Envelopes: Y19, Y15, C1, C3, YR04, YR07

I put the card together and popped the base layer and the image circle up on foam adhesive for a little dimension.

The final step was to finish the inside with some banners using the same patterned paper.

Have a super positive day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

It's Your Day! Go Wild Memory Dex

I recently joined a memory dex swap with the theme of Jungle. I pulled out my Ink N' Splatter Jungle Buddies stamp set along with the coordinating paper, In The Jungle for my memory dex card! (Ink N' Splatter is no longer in business but the home company, Digi Doodles Studios has many of the Ink N' Splatter designs in digital items and a few remaining clear stamp sets/paper pads)

Sadly these have never been used before so it was so much fun to create with them! I love those fun giraffes in the jeep!

I colored the giraffes in the jeep with my Copics. They just make me smile!

Copics Used:
Jeep: E89, E87, E84, E81, C8, Y17, YR04
Giraffes: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, R21, E27, E25, R27
Clothing: YG17, R37, R335

I used the Newton's Nook Land Border Dies to make the little hill/road for the jeep. My Memory Dex die is from Scrappy Boy Stamps but sadly it is retired.

I hope my partner loves this memory dex card as much as I do!!
Have a wild day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!!

Just Keep Swimming

Today I have a card that I created for a swap with the theme of Ocean. I had lots of choices in my stash (hello mermaids!) but decided to use the Fish Wishes stamp set from The Sassy Club along with papers from Crafty Stamp Co., Shark Bait.

This was the first time I have colored up this stamp set and made a mistake on the top of the Blue Tang by coloring it too dark. I tried to correct it with a white gel pen which made it look like she was wearing a headband. LOL! I left it because it was kind of fun!

Copics Used:
B37, B29, B24, B21, B16, Y38, Y15, R27, YR09, YR07, YR04, C7

I had fun with the sentiment, Just keep swimming, and put it on a half circle. I put the other half of the circle on the inside of the card.

I hope that my partner likes this fun card!

Have a swimmingly good day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!
