Craft Roulette #322 Card

I haven't done a Craft Roulette card in so long, umm since May 2023, shame on me! I always have the greatest intentions but poor follow through. Trying to change that since I will be attending the Craft Roulette Live this year in Kansas City with my bestie, Crafty Al.

This makes my 7th contribution to Craft Roulette. I have been a guest twice way back when, LOL!

For Episode 322 with Crafty Al, the parameters that needed to be on the card are: Project- Postcard, Colors-1970's Colors, Element-Wreath and Random-Pre-Printed.

Here's how I interpreted those parameters:
Postcard- My project is a 4x6 size which is the standard postcard size.
Colors- lots of Earthy colors that represent the 70's
Element- my cute girl has a flower wreath in her hair
Random- my patterned paper is pre-printed

I used the Flower Child stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps as she is quickly becoming one of my most favorite stamps! My paper is retired from Scrappy Boy Stamps and is called A 70's Family Paper Pack.

I colored up the sweet Flower Child with Copics to match the paper,

Copics Used:
Skin/Blush: E13, E11, E21, R20
Hair: YR27, YR24, YR23
Eyes: B06, B04
Shirt/Necklace: YR09, YR07
Overalls/Base of Floral Wreath: B99, B97, B95, B93
Belt/Shoes: E35, E33
Flowers: E27, YG97, Y28, Y26, YR68, YR65, R35, R32, B14, B12

I added some white gel pen highlights once I was done coloring. My final steps were to stamp my sentiment onto one of the Whimsy Quick Strips 4 die cuts in SU Boho Blue to match my cardstock.

Isn't she such a doll!!! I just love her!

Have a wonderful day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Crafty Al Member Challenge May 2026 | Color Cube Inspiration

Today's card is for the Crafty Al Member Challenge for May 2026. We were to be inspired by a Color Cube Card! I have a different set of Color Cubes than Crafty Al so I chose the option to choose my own, which I chose Color Cube Card 380. It has lots of bright happy colors and is sort of a rainbow which I know Crafty Al loves.

If you haven't become a member of Crafty Al's YouTube Channel, check it out! I love the perk of having the SheetLoad visual archive which means access to all the SheetLoad printables in one place plus she does freebies often and I do love the end of the month live where there is usually a challenge!! I feel it's one of the better channel memberships out there!

I first chose my papers which were the Sunny Studio Rainbow Bright 6x6 Papers. Next was to choose my image and I kept my pattern of choosing a Unity Stamp to go with the Color Cube Card so I chose Little Miss Moo from the April 2026 Kit of the Month but she's also sold individually!

I colored up Little Miss Moo (what a fun name) with my Copics! I think I got the colors pretty close to the Color Cube Card!

Copics Used:
Ground/Shadow: YG17, YG13, YG11, BG0000
Cow: R20, E13, E11, C8, C6, C5, C3
Basket: B28, B26, B24
Flowers: YG23, YG21, YR07, RV19, RV14, Y19, Y15, V17, V15

Since my circle with Little Miss Moo was rather large I just decided only put one layer behind her. I stamped the sentiment with SU Melon Mambo ink to match the cardstock. The die for the sentiment is one of my new favorites, Whimsy's Quick Strips Dies. (there are several sets and I love them all! Quick Strips 2 Dies, Quick Strips 3 Dies, Quick Strips 4 Dies)

I always do a test run on how the card will come together before I adhere everything in place.

This card just makes me smile so big!! I really do adore Little Miss Moo and I'll admit it, I love saying her name, Little Miss Moo! LOL!!

I've had a few people ask to see what I do to decorate the inside of my cards. On this one I just added some strips of paper cut at an angle and staggered.

Have a moo-velous day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Crafty Stamp Co. July 2026 Crafty Crew Kit | Flutterbys & Blooms Card Tutorial

It's time to Pre-order the July 2026 Crafty Crew Kit (Pre-order your kit before June 15, 2026! Kits ship out July 5, 2026) from Crafty Stamp Co.! This is definitely a kit just brings warmth and happiness with it's butterflies and fairy!

I used the Flutterbys & Blooms stamp set for today's card making tutorial! I love how whimsical the butterflies are in this set and the great sentiments!

To begin I chose a sketch from the Inspired By The Sketch book. I chose Sketch 46 and then picked out papers from the Rainbow Butterflies & Alcohol Ink 6x6 Paper Pad. I always like to "try things out" before I move on so I worked on the layout and layers so all I had to do was add the images.

I chose 3 of the smaller butterflies from the stamp set to stamp onto small die cut circles and color with my Copics with white gel highlights.

Copics Used:
Background: BG11. BG10
Butterflies:R85, R83, R81, YR07, YR04, YR02, YG17, YG13, YG11, B06, B04, V04, V01, Y38, Y19

I decorated the inside by stamping the sentiment, "Fluttering By To Say Hi!" and one of the butterflies in a colored ink. I added a few strips of the paper to carry the same feel throughout the card.

The final step was to put it all together. I popped up the butterfly circles on foam tape so they would stand out. I added three pretty embellishments to the corner for a little interest. This card with the bright butterflies just makes me happy!

Have a happy day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Our Friendship Is Golden

Today I have the first card that is finished from the Copic Coloring Tutorial- Koi Fish Inspired Coloring Video. You can watch the video HERE!!

I plan on creating a card with each image that used to demonstrate the technique and create a video sharing them all together.

The stamp set I used for today's card is Goldie from Sweet November Stamps. It is the stamp set that first inspired me to try and figure out this technique. Here is what I had colored on the video~

I didn't like the light yellow I used to fill in the white space so I added a darker one when I completed coloring the images. I also forgot to say in the video that adding some tiny dots add more interest. Here's the completed images~

I tried to find some patterned paper to complete the card but nothing really worked so I pulled out the Sweet November Stamps Background Builder: Kelp Bed stamp set and created a background. I didn't do very detailed coloring because I knew I wanted the mermaid and fishy friends to stand out against the green/blue.

Copics Used:
Mermaid Skin: R20, E13, E11, E21
Mermaid Hair: E18, E19, E17
Fish/Mermaid Tail: C8, C6, C4, YR09, YR04, YR02, Y19, Y35, Y15, Y00, Y04
Eyes: E37, E35
Fish Mouths: R17
White Gel Pen
Kelp Bed: YG67, YG63, YG95, B04, B02, B01

I used my Scrappy Boy Stamps Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the panels for my card. I thought a little black border would be nice and I was so pleased with the end result. I did pop up the main layer on some foam strips.

The final step was to finish the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment, Our Friendship is Golden and added one of the cute fish.

I am really pleased with how this came out and how the mermaid and fish are the stars of the card.

I can't wait to create cards with the rest of the images from my Copic Coloring video tutorial! Stay tuned!

Have a great day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!!

Crafty Stamp Co. July 2026 Crafty Crew Kit | Wings & Wishes Card Tutorial

It's time to Pre-order the July 2026 Crafty Crew Kit (Pre-order your kit before June 15, 2026! Kits ship out July 5, 2026) from Crafty Stamp Co.! This kit just speaks to me as it's all about butterflies and a gorgeous fairy! For those that don't know, years & years ago (I ended the challenge in 2013), I ran a challenge called Flutterby Wednesdays and it was all about butterflies and fairies!

Even though I don't have the challenge anymore, I am still drawn to butterflies and fairies so when I saw this new July 2026 Crafty Crew Kit I may have squealed in delight!

If you are new to the Crafty Crew Kits you can check out all the information HERE! It really is a great kit at a great price!! For this kit there is also wonderful Flutterby Trio Die that subscribers can order separately and receive an automatic discount of 10% off!

My first step was to pick the papers I wanted to use from the Rainbow Butterflies & Alcohol Ink 6x6 Paper Pad. What gorgeous paper this is!!! I also decided to play along with the June Sketch Challenge. I received the postcard about it in a recent order but you can always find the current sketch and information in the Friends Who Like Crafty Stamp Co. Facebook Group.

Sketches are a great starting point and a great way to get some inspiration for your card but you can always adjust them as needed!

I thought embossing the Daisies Stencil onto some white paper would be fun but in the end it's covered by the squares of the sketch. Sometimes our ideas don't always work out but at least we tried, right?

I colored up the beautiful fairy and butterflies from the Wings & Wishes Stamp Set with Copic markers and then fussy cut them out.

Copics Used:
Skin/Blush/Tongue: E13, E11, R20, R17
Hair: YR24, YR23, YR21
Eyes: B06, B04
Bow/Dress/Shoes: BG78, BG75, BG72
Wings: V04, V01, V000
All Flowers (inside card and on main focal point): YG17, YG13, YR07, Y19, Y15
Butterflies: BG75, BG72, V04, V01, V000

After my images were colored I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. I almost always decorate the insides of my cards. For today's card I stamped the sentiment and added some strips of paper cut at an angle and the flowers from the stamp set.

The final step was to put the card together. I was inspired by Cristena, the owner of Crafty Stamp Co., to use foam tape between one of the layers and on the butterflies. Didn't it turn out so beautiful? I can't wait to play more with this kit!!
