Challenge #4- Green | Tiki Gnomes

Today starts Challenge #4 in my Facebook group. Challenge #4 is a color challenge: Use Green!! I originally thought about making St. Patrick's Day cards, and I still might, but then decided to show some other "green" you could use.

I went with a Tiki theme for these cards to show that green is more than St. Patrick's Day!

I think the Build A Booth is one of my favorite dies from Jaded Blossom. It's just so versatile!

Sweet November Stamps Fae-bruary Challenge Week 2

There is a fun challenge each week in the Sweet November Stamps Facebook Group for Fae-bruary!! For the second week the theme is Pink and Green.

I looked through my stash and decided to use the Valentine Sweetwees since it is Valentine's Day! They are so cute!

I used the Frames & Tags die from Newton's Nook for the layout with some Doodlebug papers. I wanted the little Sweetwee who is colored with copics to stand out a bit from the background (plus it's a different pink for her balloon/lollipop) so I embossed an oval with a favorite embossing folder, Swiss Dots.

I finished off the card with a few bits from This Calls For Confetti and added some white gel pen highlights.

Happiest Bee-Day!

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

Today I have used Sketch 15~

I chose the super fun Bee-Hold stamp set from Unity Stamps for my focal image and built the card around that fun bee with papers and pearls from my stash.

Sending Happy Thoughts

I think the digital stamp, Rory from Sweet November Stamps is so darn cute! I just had to color her up!!

I remembered I had a background stamp, City Block Background, from MFT and I thought it would be perfect with Rory, I was right!!

I really wanted Rory to stand out so I kept the background/sidewalk or road neutral colors. I colored Rory with copics and used lots of fun bright colors!

To finish the card I found a sentiment in the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set and die cut a little strip (I believe it was with a Simon Says Stamp sentiment strip die). I think Rory is definitely sending very happy thoughts!!
