Thanks & Gratitude ATC Swap

I was in an ATC swap last month with the theme of Thanks & Gratitude. You were to create ATCs showing something you were thankful for. Of course, I am thankful for my family and all that jazz but I went a different route, hehe!

I chose to use the Newton's Nook Newton Loves Taco stamp to show that I'm thankful for cats and tacos! I just love this stamp set so much!!

I hope that my partners got a little giggle out of these as they were so much fun to create!!

I started by deciding what stamp set to use and decided on Newton's Sick Day and matching dies.  I then decided to use the A Cat's Life paper pad along with the Frames & Flags dies and Oval Frames dies.

I rarely make Get Well cards but I think they would be nice to have on hand, especially this time of year when it seems all the viruses are going around!

July 2023 SheetLoad of Cards- Hello There

This SheetLoad creates 12 cards. Since it was a larger SheetLoad I decided not to color so I used the Pink & Main Simple Greetings Dies for my sentiment/focal point.

Alicorn Happiness

I recently finished the Wildsong Series of books by Tricia O'Malley. The last book, Lyric of Wind had alicorns (part unicorn, part pegasus) in it. I always am sad when I finish a series but this one in particular made me really think about alicorns. I remembered I had a stamp set from TLC Designs called Alicorn Happiness so I thought I'd create a card with it to keep my thoughts going about the book.

I used Mojo Monday Sketch #12 for my layout. 

I have used many sketches similar to this throughout the years and it's always a favorite!

I had so much fun with this card! The alicorn is all sparkled up even though the photos don't show it well.

Shopping Swap Card

I recently was in a swap with the theme of Shopping! I was surprised at how many shopping themed stamps I had! I finally decided to use a stamp from the Miss Anya All Year Stamp Set.

Bookmarks for Book Club

I so excited to be joining a book club! I've never been in one that meets in person! I walk on the treadmill every morning and read on my Kindle so I can actually keep up with the reading of the books now too! I feel like a dream has come true!

Our first meeting was last Saturday (creating this post before I go) so I thought I'd make some bookmarks to hand out. I believe there are about 5 or 6 of us able to go but more could show up so I made 10 to give out.

I used the Scrappy Boy Stamps Bookmarks & Toppers dies, Cute Girls Book Lovers stamp set and the I Love Reading papers. These are what I used in THIS POST for Matthew's girlfriends bookmarks. I loved how they turned out so I thought I'd use all the supplies again!
