Final Farewell to Summer Collab- KCC11 with Pink & Main Waving Hello Kit

My friend Teresa and I had so much fun with our last collab that we decided to do another one! For the month of August we have done a Final Farewell to Summer!

Today is the last Wednesday of the month so it's the last collab video. I have had so much fun with this collab and these summer cards!

For today's cards I used the Kendra's Card Challenge #11. I was so pleased that I created all 15 cards in 5 days and I used up most of the paper pad in the kit that I used!!

Inky Paws Challenge #205- More Inspiration

It's always so fun to look through all my Newton's Nook goodies to find what I want to create with for the challenges! I decided to use the Love & Meows 6x6 Paper Pad for my stripes. I wanted to use alllll the stamps but that wasn't practical so I finally decided on Newton's Heart. Even though these are more Valentine themed, they still work for every day cards too!

I picked out my stripe papers and then die cut out the pieces for my card using the Frames & Flags dies and Heart Frames dies. I stamped the sentiment inside the heart for a fun touch.

Then it was time for my favorite part, coloring up Newton!! I paper pieced the heart. I guess I really went with the stripe theme for this card, hehe!

I finished off the card by adding some hearts and enamel dots. This card makes me smile!

December 2021 SheetLoad of Cards- Just a Note

Today I'm using the December 2021 SheetLoad of Cards. There are several SheetLoads that I never completed so I thought I'd try to "catch up" here and there. 

I used some of my hoarded stash from The Angel Company for my papers and a cute stamp set, Mini-Remix Happy from The Greeting Farm.

I thought they turned out super cute and fun!!

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy Shaker Card

I recently got the Newton's Nook A7 Frames & Banners dies and when I first saw it, the first thing I thought was that it would make a great shaker card. I was right!!

I also have quite a collection of shaker bits from This Calls For Confetti so I thought it was time to make some shakers, starting with this fun one!!

I used an old La La Land Craft's Club Kit but discovered that Marci with Lemons is available on her own now. I paired her with some great Not 2 Shabby papers.

I think it turned out so fun and it's always fun to shake it! hehe!! I think this is my first 5 x7 card too!

Mojo Monday Sketch #6- Cheeky Howdy 2

Today I have a card using Mojo Monday Sketch #6! I was going to do #5 but it's not a sketch so I skipped it. 

I looked through my stamps and decided on Cheeky Howdy 2 from The Greeting Farm. She's fun!! I paired her with some old Carta Bella 6x6 paper~ Giddy Up!

I blinged up her hat and a few touches on her boots. She's all spunky and sparkly!!

Mojo Monday Sketch #4- Soda Pop

 Today I'm continuing on my crafty journey to use the Mojo Monday Sketches in order. I have Sketch #4 today!

The first thing I thought of when I saw this sketch was the Newton's Nook Frames Squared dies! I then went to my digital stamp folder and found a fun digi, Soda Pop by Krista Smith that would work in the square.

I colored her up, paired her with some fun My Mind's Eye My Girl papers (from 2013) and then put the card together! So cute and fun!!

Final Farewell To Summer Collab- The Guppies Mermaids

My friend Teresa and I had so much fun with our last collab that we decided to do another one! For the month of August we are going to have a Final Farewell to Summer Collab each Wednesday! 

I haven't done many mermaid cards lately and mermaids bring to mind summer so today I did another 1 stamp set, 1 paper pad and 1 sketch to create my cards!

I used The Guppies stamp set from Sweet November Stamps, Kaisercraft Seaside Collection 6x6 paper pad and Mojo Monday Sketch #236!

Those strips in the sketch would be fun to use with scraps! I feel I will be revisiting this sketch!

Reading/Book Swap Times Two

Today I have two cards I created for a recent swap with the theme of Reading/Books!

I thought I'd continue on my Mojo Monday Sketch journey and use Sketch #3!

I chose the Newton's Nook Sips & Stories stamp set and the Newton's Nook Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad for my cards.
