I found this sweet dragon, Sweetie from TLC Designs (I don't think they are in business any more)  in an envelope only partially colored so I had to correct that! I finished coloring him and got him on a card. I really like how this turned out with some beloved Basic Grey paper!!

I found this fun digital stamp, Glasses on My Nose by Krista Smith in my folder of printed images and thought it'd be fun to color her up and get her on a card.

I think this image looks so similar to my daughter. I was smiling the whole time I was coloring and creating. I did giggle though as when I was putting the card front onto the card base I put it upside down from what I had in my mind. It still works but it just wasn't what I had envisioned. 

I think this is the first time I've attempted to color a wallpaper. It's crooked but I think it turned out kind of fun and funky!

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

Today I have used Sketch 14~

For my card today I had fun with the Food Pairs stamp set from Pink & Main! It works perfectly for my February Use Your Stash prompt of Food/Baking! Plus I've never used it before, yay! Also a bonus is that I used some of my beloved Basic Grey 6x6 papers, another Use Your Stash prompt for February!

I made the strips with the Kat Scrappiness A2 Stitched Strips dies and let me tell you, good luck creating with lots of paper strips when you have a playful cat around! I had to rescue several of the strips from Alyssa (my cat).

June Bug

A super sweet little kitten for today's card! This stamp is June Bug from Unity Stamps and is part of their Rescue Tales series.

Isn't she just so sweet!! I want to just scoop her up and snuggle! I started with the intention of using a sketch for this card but I just didn't like how it was looking so after a million different layout options I went with the simple approach and let the kitten shine!

Summer Days Collab Final Week

For my first card I used the super cute Poolside Vibes stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I don't see it on the website so it might be retired. I colored up the cuties in their innertubes with copics and then used my Scan n' Cut to cut them out. Then I built the card around them with some Simple Stories Sunkissed 6x8 paper and dies from my stash!

I pulled out the Colorado Craft Company Recharge stamp/die set for my next card. I paired the copic colored image with some Basic Grey Marjolaine paper (from 2010!!). I used some Scrappy Boy Stamps dies--I am in love with the Treasure Map Nested Dies as they are just so different and fun. To finish off the card I added some Not 2 Shabby Grunge & Grit enamel dots. A nice card that is a bit more on the masculine side.

I need to work on thank you cards as I told my daughter I'd make all her thank you cards for her wedding which is in June. I knew that I didn't want to stamp or color for 12 cards so a simple "thanks" die worked out wonderful! I also used some of my beloved Basic Grey 12x12 paper!

C'mon Inner Peace, I Don't Have All Day...

I was on a roll with using Color Cube cards to create with this weekend so I have one more to share! My daughter chose #256 for me to use. 

I first found a paper pad that had a more autumn feel to it but decided I wanted to see if I could find something else and I did! I found the Basic Grey Max & Whiskers 6x6 paper pad that worked perfectly!

Next I found a sketch to use! I decided to use the current Freshly Made Sketches sketch, #679. I missed the deadline to enter but that's okay, I was just using the sketch for inspiration.

The final step was to figure out what stamp to use! I chose Coffee-Doodle-Doo by Unity Stamps! What a fun bird! Makes me giggle!  

The sketch had lots of elements that had dies in my MFT Blueprints 13 so I used that.

What a fun card and it makes me giggle!

Graduation Cards

I wanted to have at least a few graduation cards for the spring craft fair that I'm doing so here is what I came up with. I don't typically make these so I'll see if they sell as to whether I make more or not. 

The local highschool colors are purple/white, purple/gold and then the University of Nebraska is Red/White so I made sure I had at least one of each of those color combos.
