You're A Plant-tastic Friend

I had so much fun creating yesterday's card with the potted plant that I decided to make another one but this time I used the newly released Jaded Blossom Potted Plants dies. I still had out the paper and other dies from the last card so I just used those for this one too.

I'm also entering this into Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge which is Anything Goes this month.

I keep telling my family that I plan on being a plant mama whenever we don't have any pets so I really am loving this plant theme I've been creating with!

Have a super day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

You Brighten My Day

I thought it would be fun to create a card from each of the TOP Inky Inspiration Sketches that Crystal Minkler puts out in her Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration group. I've used her sketches often but haven't started at the beginning and worked my through them all.

Today I have used Sketch 19~
I'm also entering this card into The Greeting Farm's monthly challenge which this month it's to use some green.

I looked through my stash of stamps from The Greeting Farm and decided to use Animal Pots--which has never seen ink, eek! I put the sentiment on the inside of the card.

I had fun creating this card and think I might do more cards with a plant/flower theme soon!

Have a fabulous day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

Morel Support

I had never heard of a Morel Mushroom until I moved to the Midwest. Every spring lots of people head out into the woods to go "mushrooming" and find these mushrooms. They either sell them or cook them up. I must say, I think they are pretty tasty fried!

I picked up the Newton's Nook Fabulous Fungus stamp set/dies in the retirement sale and was thrilled to see there was a Morel Mushroom and fun saying so I "had" to use them!

Have a wonderful day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

A Day To Treasure Cards

I wanted to have some wedding cards at my recent craft fair earlier in the month so I sat down with the Unity Stamp Set, A Day To Treasure and just had fun creating!

I started by re-creating THIS CARD. If it isn't broken, why fix it, right? I did change the color of the flowers and the size of the scalloped rectangle that the wedding couple are in.

The second card uses some pretty papers from Not 2 Shabby and some greens and blues.

I have to say I am finally happy with my "wedding card" creations! This stamp set truly makes it so easy to create these wonderful wedding cards.

Have a wonderful day! Go do something for yourself and go get crafty!

I paired Positive Tate with his carrot with the Summer Lemons & Daisies paper. I think this paper pad is one of my new favorites! Such pretty designs!!

For my layout I used Sketch #116 from the Inspired By The Sketch Book available at the Crafty Stamp Co. Shop!!

Tate is colored with Copics and then I put the card together using dies from my stash. I smile every time I look at this card so I hope you do too!

Inky Paws Challenge #250- Week 3

Today I have more inspiration for the current Inky Paws Challenge! The challenge runs through March 27, 2026! Link your creations on the Inky Paws Challenge Blog for a chance to win $20 store credit at the Newton's Nook Shop! Check out the Challenge Rules before you create your project!

For the month of March we have a theme challenge, Spring has Sprung! For my card today I embossed the Petite Flowers Stencil for the background and then colored up the Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. I die cut the Spring Roundabout colored image out with the Circle Frames Die Set and then used the Banner Trio Die set for the sentiment. The finishing touch was a bunny from the Bunny Silhouettes Die Set which I embossed with the same Petite Flowers Stencil and lightly ink blended over it.
