Mixing Patterned Papers | Toadally Awesome Birthday

One of the things I get asked often is how do I mix patterned papers for my cards. I never really knew what to say as I just did it. I sat down and thought about it and did some research and put together a video answering that question! Watch my video HERE!!

I also created a card mixing patterned papers to show how it does work! I used the super cute and fun Toadally Awesome Birthday stamp set and Birthday Bash 6x6 papers from Pajama Crafter Stamps!

I colored my cute toads/frogs with Copics and fussy cut them out!

Shaker Saturday | Tanks So Much

Foiling Friday | Crafty Fun

I decided to start a new series, Foiling Friday, so that it will hopefully inspire me to use all the foiling supplies that I have. I really enjoy foiling so I don't know why I don't do it more so now, hopefully I'll do it every Friday! You can watch my video for this week HERE!!

I am kicking off the series by sharing the fun foiled cards I created for swapping at Craft Roulette Live! I'm hoping that everyone that gets one of these will enjoy them!

I started out by grabbing the foilables with a crafty theme and just started foiling. I think this is the largest batch I've ever foiled at one time and it was so fun!

Next it was just a matter of creating cards with all the foiled layers and elements adding in some Copic colored images too!

Foil is SO hard to photograph but it's so pretty in person. I'm really looking forward to USING my foil and not just have it sit on a shelf!

For my holiday inspiration today I wanted to show you can use non-traditional colors for your holiday projects! I used the Citrus & Scarlet Blooms stamp set with the Spring Plaids 6x6 paper for my card today. I just love how it came out!! So super pretty!

I had so much fun creating my card using the Weinerful Christmas stamp set!  Isn't that dog so cute!! I'd love to receive this card!

My images were colored with Copics and fussy cut out!

I used lots of layers on this card but no foam tape in between layers so it's still pretty flat for mailing. My sentiment is on the inside and reads, "Merry Woofmas and a wienerful New Year!"

Fall Hedgies

I'm still feeling the autumn vibes so today I pulled out the Fall Hedgies stamp set from Crafty Stamp Co. to create with!

I used a sketch from the upcoming Inspired By The Sketch Vol. 2 Book by Crafty Stamp Co. I really like all the layers in this sketch. Some of the layers I popped up on dimensional foam and others I left flat for some interest. The Pumpkin Breeze 6x6 Paper is so pretty for autumn cards!

I adore the little hedgies in this stamp set and thought this little guy with his mushroom was super sweet!

Thankful For You

I don't know about you but I am so ready for cooler temps, changing leaves and all that autumn brings! I decided one way to channel that autumn feeling was to start creating autumn themed cards!

Today I used the Crafty Stamp Co. Fall In A Wagon Meadow Stamp Set along with the Pumpkin Breeze 6x6 Paper Pad.

I colored up my little autumn scene with copics. Don't you just love the little kitty cat helping? 

The image is on the larger side but I still added some interest with a strip of pretty paper across the middle and some crafty dots!

You Blow Me Away!

I had so much fun creating this card using the Pajama Crafter Stamps Funny Bunnies Stamp Set! The bunnies in this set are sure to make you smile!

I created lots of layers for my bunny to add interest to the card! Love the sentiment, "You Blow Me Away" with this bunny who's blowing a bubble gum bubble!

As I finished the card it needed a little sparkle/shine so I added the Opalescence Confetti Embellishments. I love how it turned out!
