My papers are from the Doodlebug Doggone Cute paper pad and I think they are just so darling!

Craft Roulette #333 Card | Merry Woofmas

One of the goals I left Craft Roulette Live with was to participate more often! I'm so excited that I have a card to submit for Episode #333 with Chelsea Comer! New to Craft Roulette? Check it out HERE!!

Each week Craft Roulette spins a wheel to randomly choose 4 parameters: Project, Colors, Element and Random. You create a card with those parameters and then submit it for everyone to see. It's fun to see how many different ways the parameters are interpreted!

For Episode #333 the parameters were: Project-4x6 Card, Colors-Buffet, Element-Holiday and Random-Bark. For my card I did: Project-I created a 4x6 card, Colors-Reds, Greens, Yellows and Oranges on a Buffet in the salad bar (tomatoes, lettuce, banana peppers and carrots), Element-Christmas, and Random-My dog barks!

My sweet pup is from the Pajama Crafter Stamps Wienerful Christmas stamp set. So super cute!!

Mixing Patterned Papers | Toadally Awesome Birthday

One of the things I get asked often is how do I mix patterned papers for my cards. I never really knew what to say as I just did it. I sat down and thought about it and did some research and put together a video answering that question! Watch my video HERE!!

I colored my cute toads/frogs with Copics and fussy cut them out!

I had so much fun creating my card using the Weinerful Christmas stamp set!  Isn't that dog so cute!! I'd love to receive this card!

I used lots of layers on this card but no foam tape in between layers so it's still pretty flat for mailing. My sentiment is on the inside and reads, "Merry Woofmas and a wienerful New Year!"

You Blow Me Away!

I had so much fun creating this card using the Pajama Crafter Stamps Funny Bunnies Stamp Set! The bunnies in this set are sure to make you smile!

I created lots of layers for my bunny to add interest to the card! Love the sentiment, "You Blow Me Away" with this bunny who's blowing a bubble gum bubble!

As I finished the card it needed a little sparkle/shine so I added the Opalescence Confetti Embellishments. I love how it turned out!

Pajama Crafter Stamps Shark Week | Hello Chum

Hello crafty friends! It's Shark Week at Pajama Crafter Stamps and today's card is all about the sharks!

Let's take a closer look at how I created today's card!

 

Ink Blending and Stenciling

It’s no secret that I love patterned paper and that is typically where I start but I have recently discovered the Awesome Sauce that Pajama Crafter Stamps carries and it makes ink blending a dream! I started with ink blending Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink with Awesome Sauce to create a beautiful, blended cardstock. To add some interest, I used the Sunburst Stencil and that same Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to make it look like light coming down into the water.

 

I felt like the underwater background still needed a little something, so I sprayed and splashed some water onto it because Distress Oxide inks react with water. I set it aside to let it dry.

Stamping and Coloring Sharks

While my background was drying I stamped out the Hammerhead Shark and 2 of the Great White Sharks from the Happy Flappy Stamp Set onto MarshmallowColoring Paper and colored them with my Copic markers and then fussy cut them out.

Great White Sharks: C6, C5, C4, C2

 

Finish the Card

I made sure the ocean background layer was dry and then cut it, making sure to cut off the top and bottom of the stenciling where it didn’t fit the scene I was creating. I cut this layer to 4 ¾ x 3 ½ inches. I created 2 more layers, one in gray measuring 5 ¼ x 4 inches and one in white measuring 5 x 3 ¾ inches.

 

I cut out a banner out of more ink blended cardstock with the Banner Die Set and stamped my sentiment, Hello Chum onto it.

 

I adhered all my layers, popped up the sentiment onto foam adhesive and then added a few Opalescence Confetti Embellishments because I thought they looked like bubbles.

Color Me Happy Pajama Crafter Stamps July IG Hop

I colored the flowers from the Together Stamp Set for my card today! They are so beautiful and brought me so much happiness to color them with my Copics.

I used a white gel pen for details.

Once the flowers were colored I used my Scan N Cut to cut the flowers out. I used some dies from my stash to create the layers for the front using cardstock and the Spring Plaids 6x6 Paper Pad.

To finish the card I popped the flowers and heat embossed sentiment strips up on foam dimensionals and added some pearls. I think it turned out so pretty!
